On March 4, 1999, we received a wonderful gift.

We were the fortunate people chosen to give a forever home to a stray dog found near Springfield, Illinois. She came to us through the efforts of several members of Bearded Collie Rescue, although she was obviously not a purebred Beardie. She now has a limited registration with the AKC as a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, but will always be affectionately known as a "wheardie" on the internet's BeardieList.
In honor of her second "gotcha day",
we hope you will enjoy these recent pictures of Scooch!-Diane & Bill
Life is still great here!
I can usually convince my people to do whatever I really want them to do, like getting me my very own Bearded Collie as a "brother".
I'm a pretty good hunter . . . hey, what is that fly doing on my window?

I could get it if I was just a little taller!

I try to teach Boogie the finer points of dining with humans.

People are really strange!
They made me wear this for a costume contest on the SoftCoated Wheaten List on the internet.
It was good for a couple of cookies, anyway.

My humans say that my registered name says it
all:
Scooch's Life's a Dance!
